Essence Massage & Bodywork For Women - Annie, LMT
At Essence Massage & Bodywork for Women we strive to provide the best customer experience for ALL clients. In order to do so we maintain a few straightforward policies.
Right of Refusal
Essence Massage & Bodywork for Women retains to right to refuse service for any reason included but not limited a determination by therapist that Massage Therapy would not be in the clients best interest due to medical condition or other, incongruent goals between client and therapist, or client behavior not in alignment with policies outlined below. Massage Therapy does not replace any medical treatment and massage therapist do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat any medical conditions.
Professional Environment
Massage Therapy is a licensed profession and Essence Massage and Bodywork for Women provides a professional environment. Any inappropriate behavior will result in termination of services and full payment is expected. Draping (i.e. sheets / blankets / towels / etc) will be used throughout the massage session. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Areas worked on with consent from client may include scalp, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, back, legs, feet. Glutes may be worked on over drape if consented from client. Client may opt out of work to any previously listed areas by verbally informing therapist before or during session.
No Show Policy
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on the calendar that is no longer available to other clients. In order to be respectful of all clients, please reach out via phone or email regarding rescheduling and cancellations as soon as you know you will not be making your appointment.
A “No Show” is when a client misses an appointment altogether, cancels an appointment less than 1 hour before scheduled appointment, or is more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment.
Any of the above situations will result in a fee of 100% of the service originally scheduled plus a $3 credit card processing fee.
Late Cancellation Policy
A “late-cancellation” is defined as cancelling an appointment without giving notice 24 hour prior to an appointment. Cancellations or changes made to an appointment less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment will result in a fee 50% of the service booked.
APPOINTMENT REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS: Clients will receive a confirmation text & email reminders in the three days preceding their booking. Clients will have the opportunity at this time to confirm - or cancel / reschedule if they are not able to make their scheduled appointment. Outside the 24hour window, clients may reschedule an appointment twice. Clients who repetitively reschedule or cancel may be declined all future services. No Fees will be charged if this action is done prior to 24 hours of appointment start.
Clients who cancel or reschedule any appointment outside the 24 hour mark three or more times consecutively will be declined future services.
Late Arrival Policy
Clients who arrive up to 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment will receive a shortened appointment at price of original service booking. If a client has not reached out or arrived after the 15min window the appointment will be charged as a no show.
Collecting of Fees
Gift Cards: Gift Cards cannot be used to secure an appointment. Clients booking with a gift card must still leave a credit card when booking.
Credit Cards: Late Cancel / No Show fees will be charged to card held on clients profile. Credit Cards are required to book an appointment.
